PhD in ‘Sociology of Culture and Political Processes’, she is full Professor at LUMSA University of Rome and she was a lecturer at Sapienza University of Rome - Department of Communication and Social Research, where she taught ‘Fundamentals of Social Sciences’ and ‘Innovation, Sustainability and Gender Inclusion’. She is President of the Observatory of Social Theory for New Technologies and Sustainability-Sostenibilia and of the Interuniversity Observatory on Gender, Equality and Equal Opportunities. Assistant Editor of the International Review of Sociology, her research interests in PRIN PNRR projects include risk society and conditions of security and safety; social inequalities and intersectionality; women's empowerment; social sustainability, processes of social change and transdisciplinarity.
